Fur Babe Foodie - Flower-Flounder Quinoa

Fur Babe Foodie - Flower-Flounder Quinoa

My Fur Babe recipes are for dogs only. Dogs are scavengers and a variety of foods can be safely fed to them to improve their diets. (Cats are carnivores and must eat primarily meats to remain healthy.)

I recommend that you clear my recipes with your vet before feeding them to your own Fur Babe, and that you always provide your pups with a varied diet. I make several different recipes for my Fur Babe every week, as well as supplementing his diet with a high quality dry dog food.

I have never made a recipe that North does not devour. I began feeding him homemade foodie meals at two months old. I will never share one with you that is not a hit in his book.

My Pulse

I started out earlier this week feeling through a lot of really strong resentful emotions.

These emotions were caused by show of support that I saw for our community coming from people who rarely ever do anything to actually support it, and conversely, actually do things that cause us harm more often than they would like to acknowledge.

Support is something that should never be turned down.

When someone reaches out a hand and offers sympathy, the good and right - the loving - thing to do, is to accept it without judgement.

But how can someone think, that by putting on rainbows and speaking words of unity, that they can erase or somehow supersede the damage that they have already done?

How can someone who votes my oppressors into government, suggest that they are my supporter?

This is why my heart is so heavy.

I know that on this day of remembrance, my goal is to reach out, to work harder, to give more love to the world. I don’t want to embrace resentment.

But where is the line drawn betwee…
