Remaining at the edge of the pool, it seemed like forever. Ripe echoes of motion cascading in endless waves…hypnotizing in their lightness. Remaining mysterious, hiding their submerged bodies. Reflecting the light of the twinkling sunbeams as they filtered through the secretive tree branches. Rolling they continued, kissing the gentle lip of the reluctant shore. Recognizing my dazed state of being I wondered how long they could possibly go on. Realizing the tiny stone cast could no longer be creating their momentum. Resting, that was all that it did as it sat serenely in the deep murky bottom. Reaching almost unrecognizable speeds and arcs they begin to slowly disappear. Rendering the water quiet, again at peace, longing for quiet disturbance.
