This is a dip that is hard to stay away from. It is perfect for parties and potlucks. I often have requests for the recipe.
1 - 16 oz. package traditional velveeta cheese, cubed
1 lb. ground pork
1 medium yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
5 oz. jarred jalapenos, chopped
1 - 16 oz. jar salsa
Saute the onion and garlic with the olive oil in a medium sized sauce pan, over medium heat, for two minutes. Add the pork and continue to cook until the pork is cooked through and begins to brown, about then minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and continue cooking until the cheese is melted and the mixture is well combined. Cool for at least ten minutes and serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
